We have chosen to work with the UK’s leading digital health provider to make sure you get the highest standard of care available.
This provider is regulated by the Care Quality Commission in England and was one of the first digital health providers to be inspected. They were found to be delivering safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led services in accordance with all relevant regulation.
We take data security very seriously. Personal data is kept confidential and secure at all times. It is always handled with the utmost care and respect. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy. We will only process information lawfully in accordance with GDPR and applicable NHS codes.
The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, high quality care.
GP at Hand is fully CQC-registered and compliant with all health care regulations.
We completed the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit assessment demonstrating we practice good data security and handle personal info correctly.
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for GPs working in GP at Hand in the last financial year (2017/2018) was £83,420.83 before tax and national insurance. This is for 53 part-time GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.
This calculation is based on the GP at Hand partners and the GPs employed as salaried employees or locums. Together these GPs carry out the vast majority of appointments for GP at Hand. GPs employed by other subcontractors to the GP at Hand partnership have not been included.
The service is free for all patients who register with us as their NHS GP practice. You can register online, and you will need to validate your identity via the app before you see a GP.
